Free login Legendaries are now common, and with Dorothy Gale the latest to arrive, it is worth asking which of them deserve your resources today. This ranking looks at current value in 2026, particularly for newer players who receive them now, rather than how exciting each champion was on release.
S tier: build these
Ninja is still judged the best free login champion the game has released. HP Burn, high boss damage and Decrease DEF are the core of his kit, and he has gained from newer synergies, notably Lady Mikage, who gives him extra attacks.
Sun Wukong comes just behind. When he dies he eventually revives with full Turn Meter, and his AoE can Steal Buffs before attacking and place Block Buffs. He is a little less dominant in the modern Total Guard and Mercurial Arena, but still very useful in PvE and Arena.
Dorothy Gale is rated one of the safest investments. She brings AoE Decrease DEF and Decrease ACC, Weaken, AoE Stun, Steal Buffs and spreading, plus an All Battles Speed Aura. Decrease ACC matters more as resistance-based teams become viable in Grim Forest, Chimera, Cursed City and Champion Proving Grounds.
Ezio Auditore has lost PvP value, but his poison-based AoE damage clears waves well, and his A1 Decrease DEF can't be resisted, which suits Ally Attack teams.
Michelangelo is the team-dependent one. Alone he is closer to A tier; alongside Leonardo and the other Turtles he earns S.
A tier: excellent and worth building
- Xenomorph: poison-focused single-target damage with strong wave control through Infest. Great for early and mid-game progression, though poison is niche at the top end.
- Artak: a three-turn AoE HP Burn, a Burn activation and Decrease ATK. Still very strong, but more champions can now place and activate HP Burn.
- Rathalos Blademaster: huge damage against enemies under HP Burn, but he needs another champion to supply it and his fifth-skill timing can be awkward.
- Ronda: useful multi-hit attacks and a Block Active Skills and Block Passive Skills A2 that needs no Accuracy check, but she is fragile.
- Vallaryn the Equalizer: AoE Weaken, Heal Reduction and a useful option for Undead Hordes in Champion Proving Grounds.
B tier: good but situational
- Ultimate Deathknight: once S tier, but Total Guard, multi-hit champions and newer Taunt champions have reduced his value.
- Leminisi the Gold-Wing: improved with age because Grim Forest raised the value of Heal Reduction.
- Alice the Wanderer: strong for early and mid-game Arena, but falls off harder than Dorothy in later content.
- Iudex Artor: a dependable single-target reviver, though Sacred Order already has Godseeker Aniri and Cardinal.
C and D tier
Chronicler Adelyn is mainly a Sand Devil specialist whose ordinary Sleep can fail on a resistance check. Deliana has been overtaken on AoE Block Buffs. Loki the Deceiver struggles against Stoneskin and Total Guard, and his Perfect Veil requirement makes him awkward. Skeletor is a single-target boss specialist, reasonably useful for Chimera.
At the bottom, Aleksandr the Sharpshooter is called the weakest free login Legendary: his AoE Decrease DEF is not enough in 2026, and his Weaken is restricted to Orcs and Ogryn Tribes.
What to do
If you have just received Dorothy Gale, invest with confidence. If you own Ninja, Sun Wukong or Ezio Auditore, they remain worth the resources. If Aleksandr is sitting in your Vault, leave him there.
