The Void Keep is where you farm the Potions needed to Ascend Void Affinity champions. Ascending adds base stats, lets you equip Amulets and Banners at the required Ascension Levels, and can improve certain skills, such as unlocking passives. You also need Arcane Potions to progress through Ascension.

The Keep is only open on Sundays. If you need Void Potions outside that window, you can spend 300 Gems to unlock it temporarily, but that is best saved for urgent cases such as a time-sensitive Fusion event.

Which stage to farm

Farm the highest stage you can clear consistently, and aim for Stage 20. At that stage Lesser Potions are removed from the reward pool, so you collect only Greater and Superior Void Potions. If you need Lesser Potions for lower-rarity champions, drop back to an earlier stage. Because the Keep opens once a week, farm enough to cover your upcoming Ascension needs.

The Void Guardian's kit

  • Grim Reaper hits all enemies and places two 5% Poison debuffs for 3 turns. They cannot be resisted.
  • Bane deals damage from all Poison debuffs on your champions, based on their MAX HP, so the boss can trigger the Poisons at once.
  • Almighty Immunity (passive) makes him immune to Stun, Freeze, Sleep, Provoke, Fear and Block Active Skills, as well as HP exchange, HP balancing and cooldown-increasing effects.

Decrease SPD and Turn Meter reduction still work on him, so you can limit how often he acts. The answer to the Poisons is either Block Debuffs active before Grim Reaper, or Remove Debuffs to cleanse them before Bane.

Minions and waves

He fights beside two minions. The left one places Weaken, and the right one places Block Buffs, which can stop your Block Debuffs from going up. Deal with the right minion first if your plan relies on Block Debuffs. Stun, Freeze and Provoke work on the minions and wave enemies, even though the boss ignores them.

You must clear two waves before the boss. Decrease DEF and Weaken help your damage dealers, and Seer or Poison Explosion teams can clear both waves quickly.

An example Stage 20 team

  • Eostrid: team-wide Increase SPD and Increase ATK, Turn Meter control, Decrease SPD and Weaken.
  • Maneater: his A3 gives Block Debuffs and Unkillable, his A2 can fully deplete the boss's Turn Meter, and his A1 brings Decrease ATK.
  • Morag: AoE damage, Strengthen and a joint attack.
  • Stag Knight: Decrease DEF, Decrease ATK, and Decrease SPD on his A1.
  • Ethlen: a double-hitting AoE that can place Block Active Skills on the waves.

This is only one working example, and plenty of other champions can do the job.

Stats and gear

As a guideline, aim for around 25 more ACC than the boss's RES, and check the requirement for your stage. Damage dealers want 100% C.RATE, strong C.DMG and the relevant scaling stat. Perception, Pinpoint, Feral and Accuracy-focused sets help with ACC, while Savage, Merciless, Cruel or Lethal suit damage dealers.

The boss and his minions are all Void Affinity, so you do not need to worry about Weak Hits. Use Team Presets so that Block Debuffs and cleanses are not wasted on wave 2.
