Ancient Shard x2 and x15 events arrive on Friday 16 October

Plarium has announced two Summon Events running together on Friday, October 16th, 2026. Both last 72 hours and end on Monday, October 19th. One doubles the Ancient Shard rates for Epic and Legendary Champions, and the other is a targeted x15 event featuring two Champions from the Wizard of Oz collaboration.

What the events offer

The x2 event raises the standard Ancient Shard rates:

• Epic Champions: 8% to 16%
• Legendary Champions: 0.5% to 1%

The x15 event lets you choose one Legendary Champion from a pool of two:

• The Cowardly Lion
• The Tin Woodman

There is a single Legendary slot, so you have to pick which of the two you are chasing before you pull.

The two targets

The Tin Woodman is a legendary magic defence Champion from the Banner Lords, with base speed 99 and a 30% DEF aura in all content. His skills include Heal, Revive on Death, Reduce Cooldowns, Increase C.DMG and a Joint Attack, plus AoE and DEF-based damage.

The Cowardly Lion is a legendary magic defence Champion from the Skinwalkers, with base speed 105 and no aura. His kit includes Counterattack, Give Turn, Increase DEF, Increase Turn Meter, Decrease Turn Meter and Inspiration, along with AoE, multi-hit and DEF-based damage.

The Tin Woodman's aura applies everywhere, which is the clearest difference between them on paper. The Cowardly Lion is the faster of the two at 105 base speed against 99.

Who should care

Anyone holding Ancient Shards who wants more Epic and Legendary Champions will get the best value in this window, as the Legendary rate doubles from 0.5% to 1%. If you want one of the two Oz Champions, the x15 event is aimed squarely at you.

If you are saving Ancient Shards for a future Fusion Event or a guaranteed Champion opportunity, think about what you have in stock before committing. Spending them now could leave you short later.

What to do before Friday

• Count your Ancient Shards and decide how many you can spare.
• Choose between The Cowardly Lion and The Tin Woodman, since you can only pick one for the x15 slot.
• Remember the window is 72 hours, so there is no need to pull the moment it starts.
