Plarium has announced two summoning events that start together on Friday, October 30th, 2026: a 2x Void Shard event with boosted Epic and Legendary rates, and a 15x Progressive Chance event for Tartarus the Oarsman. If you have been saving Void Shards, this is the window the announcement points to.
The 2x Void Shard rates
From Friday, the chance of an Epic or Legendary from a Void Shard is doubled. The figures given are:
- Rare: 91.5% normally, 83% during the event
- Epic: 8% normally, 16% during the event
- Legendary: 0.5% normally, 1% during the event
The event does not guarantee a Legendary. It simply doubles the standard chance of getting one, which makes it a good time to open Void Shards if you want more Epic and Legendary Void champions in your collection.
What the 15x Tartarus event does
The second event is a 15x Progressive Chance Event for Tartarus the Oarsman. It raises the chance that a Legendary you pull from a Void Shard is Tartarus.
The detail that matters is that the 15x boost applies to Tartarus's chance of appearing within the Legendary pool. It does not raise your overall chance of pulling a Legendary at all. That still comes from the 2x event, which is why the two running side by side is useful: the 2x event gives you more Legendaries, and the 15x event makes more of them likely to be Tartarus.
Mind the end dates
Plarium has confirmed that the 15x Tartarus event finishes one day earlier than the 2x Void Shard event. If Tartarus is your target, open your shards during the overlap rather than leaving them until the last day of the 2x event, when the Tartarus boost will already be gone.
Who should care
- Players holding a stock of Void Shards who want to make the most of them.
- Anyone who wants Tartarus and has been waiting for a boosted chance.
- Players who simply want more Epic and Legendary Void champions, even if Tartarus is not the goal.
If you are not short of Void Shards and do not need Tartarus, the 2x rates are still the better time to open them than a normal day. Whatever you plan to do, check the exact end times in the game before the weekend so you do not miss the overlap.
