The Cowardly Lion

Theimios the Everdrinker was the Octoberfest Fusion across September and October 2026. If you have finished him, here is what he does well and how to build him without wasting gear.

What his kit does

His A1 is an AoE Provoke attack with a 64% chance to land by default. That rises to 69.75% with the Fearsome Prescence Mastery, 74.8% in a Provoke set without the Mastery, and 80.3% with both. The Legendary Square Gemstone Opening Gambit adds 5% on top.

His A2 removes buffs and places 3 Poisons. It also switches on his passive. His A3 gives the team a Perfect Veil and Increase ACC.

The passive, Life of the Party, can give him up to 65% Evade. One A2 is enough to stack it fully against a wave. His Aura gives ACC in all battles.

Where he is best

  • Dragon dungeon: a strong solo Poisoner on Normal and Hard. The same goes for Ice Golem on Normal only.
  • Waves: Faction Wars, Grim Forest and Cursed City stages are where his Provokes and Poisons shine. With five enemies in a wave he can max out his Evade quickly.
  • Hydra: Perfect Veil helps against the True Fears from the Head of Torment, and his Provokes help against the Head of Decay. He also works as a tank for the Head of Mischief, as long as you build high RES.
  • PvP: the A1 is a counter to the Mercurial set, because Provoke can land on enemies with Total Guard. He may need Fill Turn Meter or an Ally Attack effect to act before they do.

Stats to aim for

His ACC needs are low thanks to his Increase ACC buff and Aura, and excess ACC is wasted. The usual rule of thumb is 200 ACC early, 300 mid and 400 late. For Theimios the recommendation is 130 early, 200 mid and 270 late, and 60 points lower again if you use his Aura.

After ACC, build SPD: 200 early, 250 mid, 300 late. Then RES: 300 early, 400 mid, 500 late. HP% and DEF% help his survivability. ATK% only matters with the Arachnelixir Relic.

Gear sets

  • Early: Speed, Accuracy, Perception.
  • Mid: Regeneration for solo play, Provoke for team support, or Stoneskin for PvP.
  • Late: 9-piece Feral for PvE damage, 9-piece Mercurial for PvP.

In the early game, simply use the good pieces you already own.

Blessings and Relics

Brimstone is the best PvE Blessing and works well even at 1-star. Lethal Dose is the PvP pick and is useless in PvE. Lightning Cage adds a buff that draws the Head of Mischief.

For Relics, Arachnelixir boosts Poison damage, Sporeburst Rod places more Poisons, and Golden Elixir is a good budget option.

A guaranteed soul for him has not been confirmed yet, though a Titan Event is the expectation.
