Two events started on Monday with The Scarecrow as the prize. Here are the points you need, the Frontier rules and what to prepare.

The Scarecrow is a reward again, this time across two events that both started on Monday. One is Ingenious Titan, which is split into two parts. The other is Frightful Frontier, the first event in the new Frontier format. Here is what you need to know about both.
Ingenious Titan
These are the figures for the event:
- Part One runs October 5th to October 11th, with 910 Citadel Points available.
- Part Two runs October 12th to October 22nd, with 840 Citadel Points available.
- Across both parts there are 1,750 Citadel Points. Every Milestone Reward needs 1,500, which leaves 250 points to spare.
The rewards include The Scarecrow herself, The Scarecrow Avatar, a Fusion Token, Radiant Sunlilies and other resources. Which milestone holds which reward has not been confirmed.
The margin is small, so you can only skip a handful of objectives. Part One has more points than Part Two, so make the most of this week rather than counting on catching up later.
Frightful Frontier
Frightful Frontier runs October 5th to October 23rd. It has five rarity Zones: Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythical. This first run is simpler than the format will become. It has only Standard Outposts and the Final Outpost, with no Hidden or Time-Limited Outposts.
The earlier preview of the format explains the basics:
- Each Outpost has four Quests, and each Quest is worth one Point.
- Points stay in the Outpost where you earned them. You can't move them to another one.
- The hardest Quests in the pool include "Craft 30 Mythical Artifacts at the Forge". Another asks you to use Glyphs to raise an Artifact's SPD substat by +5 or higher.
Quests can change between events, and Plarium said the rewards, map and Outposts in that preview were placeholders. Use the quest list as a rough guide, not a promise.
Rewards
The free Basic Rewards include:
- 1-Star, 3-Star and 5-Star Perfect Souls for The Scarecrow
- a Mythical Tome
- one Legendary Gemstone
- one Mythical Gemstone
The paid Explorer Rewards add 2-Star, 4-Star and 6-Star Perfect Souls for The Scarecrow, plus a Thematic Avatar Frame. The price has not been confirmed.
What it means for you
The two events work as a pair. Ingenious Titan gives you the champion, and the Frontier's free track gives you her Perfect Souls. If you missed The Scarecrow the first time, this is your second chance.
She is a Legendary Spirit support from the Undead Hordes. Her kit includes Decrease ACC, Decrease RES, Increase ACC, Increase RES, Block Damage, Fortify and an ACC aura that works in all content.
A few things to sort out now:
- Start Forge work early. If the Mythical Artifact crafting quest turns up, it will take time and materials.
- Keep some Glyphs back. You may need them for the SPD substat quest.
- Plan each Outpost on its own. Points can't be moved between them, so a half-finished Outpost doesn't help anywhere else.
- Hold off on the Explorer pass. Wait until the price is confirmed and you have seen how far the free track gets you.
